Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 September 2026

This is a template. Have these terms reviewed and adapted by a qualified legal adviser before publishing.

1. Agreement

These terms govern the relationship between BSR Truck Training School and any person or organisation enroling in a training programme. By paying a deposit or attending a session you accept these terms.

2. Enrolment and eligibility

Enrolment is confirmed only when a deposit is received and eligibility documents have been verified. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the identification, licence and medical information you provide. We reserve the right to decline or terminate enrolment where eligibility requirements are not met or where documentation is found to be inaccurate.

3. Fees and payment

  • Fees are quoted as an all-inclusive package and are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.
  • A deposit secures your place; the balance is due before the final week of training unless an instalment agreement is in place.
  • Third-party charges such as licensing authority fees, medical examinations and re-test fees are payable by the student unless expressly included in writing.
  • Corporate clients are invoiced against a purchase order with payment due within 30 days.

4. Cancellation and refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a booked lesson may be rescheduled at no charge.
  • Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full.
  • Once training has commenced, fees are refundable only on a pro-rata basis for unused vehicle hours, at our discretion.
  • If we cancel a lesson, you may reschedule at no cost or receive a full refund for that lesson.

5. Attendance and conduct

Students must attend scheduled sessions punctually, wear the required personal protective equipment, follow all instructor and yard safety directions, and hold the appropriate permit before any on-road session. We may suspend or terminate training without refund where a student attends under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves unsafely, or damages equipment through wilful misconduct.

6. No guarantee of licence or employment

We prepare students to the required standard, but licensing decisions are made solely by the relevant licensing authority and examiner. We do not guarantee a pass. We do not provide recruitment services and do not guarantee a job offer or any particular level of earnings.

7. Vehicles and equipment

Training vehicles remain our property and are insured for instructional use. Students are responsible for damage caused by wilful misconduct or by operating a vehicle contrary to instructor direction. Personal belongings are left in vehicles at the student's own risk.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a training programme is limited to the fees paid for that programme. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Media consent

We occasionally photograph or film training sessions for marketing purposes. You may opt out at any time by notifying your instructor or emailing bsrtrucktrainingschool@gmail.com.

10. Intellectual property

Course materials, handbooks, checklists and website content are our intellectual property and are provided for personal training use only. They may not be reproduced or distributed commercially without written permission.

11. Complaints

Complaints should be raised first with your instructor, then escalated in writing to the training manager. We aim to acknowledge written complaints within three business days and resolve them within fifteen.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian state or territory in which training is delivered, and are subject to the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded.
